Pixelated Palletes

One of my difficulties in art is I often fall back on the same color palletes, where I use a lot of blues, magentas, and reds, and then use very little green, yellow, or cyan. This is something that I want to adjust by using a far more limited color pallete. My technique has been using photography that grabs my attention from online. Then using my drawing program I pixelate the image and turn it into a color palette.

From there I can create a work of art that uses these colors in a toned down and more earthy way. Exploring the balance of color, depth, and field of view.

Here are a few examples of the finished products.
